Devon Alexander's Jab sucks

Even though they both flick it out similarly, Alexander puts a little more mustard on it.

It's just painful to watch that jab, I once tried throwing jabs like that and got Tennis Elbow (over extended my arm). It hurt for days. [/SIZE]

I used to think Mosley had the worst jab in history of anyone throwing a punch until I seen Alexander. imagine how good Alexander would be if he had a decent jab to go with that hook and uppercut

A little off topic, but his straight left isn't that great either.

It's not so much that's it's bad, but he's just so predictable when he throws it.

It's always the one-two or double jab then straight left. And his jab isn't good to begin with so that reduces the accuracy and effectiveness of his straight left.

His approach remind me of a younger Pac in terms of predictability, but without the speed, angles, and aggression.

The thing I don't like about Alexander is even when he's getting his ass handed to him, he has no intention of changing his gameplan. He'll do everything in his power to avoid trading punches.

alexander just isnt smart in the ring. he looks like a deer in headlights when faced with adversity. its not his jab thats messed up. its his knowledge of how and when to throw it.

his jab isnt bad its just he dont use it at the right times. he dont use it to set his other punches up he makes it a useless weapon like just to keep ppl away and thinking he active. similar to judah just putting it out there its like useless.
