It's not that his jab sucks but his knowledge of when to throw it sucks..IMO he has a snappy Jab but he throws it from too far out and never has any real intent on landing it in the first place..But overall Alexander has much more work to do if he wants to be taking seriously and a fight with Maidana is not the way to go..He needs Manny Stewart in a bad way,I believe Manny would turn Devon into a very skilled boxer..

Even though they both flick it out similarly, Alexander puts a little more mustard on it.

It's just painful to watch that jab, I once tried throwing jabs like that and got Tennis Elbow (over extended my arm). It hurt for days.

I disagree that his jab doesn't suck. He doesn't throw it correctly, and could overextend his elbow like that.

But I agree that his timing is off too. He exposed that fact very clearly in his last fights. He is starting to sound like a Female Tennis player, with the sounds he is making after every painful to watch shot he throws.

LOL My sis was watching the fight with me(she's in love with Khan by the way)and said it was like watching a bulldog fight a poodle..She really compared Alexander to a poodle..

i agree his jab was horrible vs bradley but i dont recall his jab always being that bad...maybe it was alot worse because he was clearly intimidated by bradley and that could have effected it.

if he fights maidana next maidana will walk right through that jab and not respect it one bit
