    This is boxing, not UFC.
There is more demand for this fight for Khan than any other and no reason why he shouldn't fight Prescott, its a clear duck if he doesn't.

No one who follows boxing would want him to fight Prescott at this stage or would pay to see it. It would be a huge backwards step after beating Maidana. Totally pointless. If Prescott hadn't lost to two unranked journeymen and looked very unimpressive in beating two other unranked journeymen, then the demand would make sense. As it is, it's just ridiculous. The so-called "demand" is only coming from irrational Khan haters, not from rational boxing fans. There's no rational reason for him to fight Prescott at this point.

Other than Tim there is no fight realistically that can happen for Khan right now that ppl would be more interested in.

Who cares if he lost twice, that is only once more than Khan has and Prescott was never easily ko'd in less than a minute or at all.

One of those was against the lineal Jr Welterweight champion and the other was not only a robbery but was easily and decisively avenged. Prescott lost to two bums who were nowhere near the top 10 at Lightweight. And he has never even fought a top 50 Jr Welterweight.

All that beating Prescott would prove is that Khan is as good a Jr Welterweight as Kevin Mitchell is, and Kevin Mitchell is really a Super Featherweight, and isn't even a top 20 Lightweight.

He would not knock Prescott out in one round and would be highly unlikely to knock him out at all. He'd easily outbox him like Mitchell did, in a boring fight. And it wouldn't prove anything. Everyone knows Maidana is infinitely better than Prescott and punches harder than Prescott, and he's just beaten Maidana.

Peterson and McCloskey would both have been infinitely more credible opponents at this stage than Prescott. Those are the fighters that Khan should be slated for not fighting. Urango would also be far more credible than Prescott, as he is still a top 10 Jr Welterweight.

Hahahaha, that is funniest **** I heard all week. A Prime Prescott, are you kidding me? If that is a prime Prescott then he will never be in Khan's league anymore. Guy loses to TWO nobodies in his last four fights and he is in his prime? The combined record of his last two opponents that he beat is 30-18 and 4 draws. I'm sorry but Khan has many more attractive opponents at 140 lbs besides Tim Bradley, there is Zab Judah, Victor Ortiz, Kaizer Mabuza, Lamont Peterson, Kendall Holt or even a rematch with Maidana...
