That's the whole point. If Khan is genuine about fighting Prescott in the future (when he improves his record, which won't happen), it is better to get it over with now then wait. Obviously there is no point in Pac fighting Torrecampo now, but Khan is not very distanced by time from his defeat at the hands of Prescott.
