He allegedly threated to pull out of the de la Hoya fight if he wasn't given more money (he got the money) and apparently did the same thing with the Angulo fight, which is why it didn't go ahead.

If it's true that he's done it twice before, it wouldn't surprise me if it happened again.

Good theory. I have said all along that I don't see mayorga making 154. That just won't happen. Maybe they still fight maybe cotto looks for a replacement.

"he's always wanted the fight and that's not possible unless we make the deal with bob"............there are other fights, in house, out there.

So can we stop with the notions that arum will match his main guys against anyone outside of top rank. Fact is arum will not match up any of his fighters against an opponent not represented by arum himself

Maybe after the Cotto/Margarito fight I'd be interested. There are other match-ups for these two that I'm interested in more than Cotto/Cintron.

              Cintron/Berto, Cintron/Margarito III, Cintron/Martinez II, Cintron/Williams II, Cintron/Martiyosan

              and

              Cotto/Margarito II (obviously), Cotto/Berto, Cotto/Bradley, Cotto/FMJ Jr (yeah right), Cotto/Dzinzurik

with the exception of those in bold, I wouldn't mind any of those.

Cotto isn't going back to 147 so forget bradley.
