pr king 718 - plus, as someone pointed out in an earlier post, Pac has really not moved up that many pounds, because when he was fighting at 112 lbs and winning the flyweight title, he was a teenager. Mayweather was around the same weight fighting as an amateur as a teenager.
Pac has moved from 122 to 147 in his 20s. Plus, now Pac really cuts very little weight. I bet his walking around weight is only about 10 lbs higher than it was a few yrs back - but he was cutting more weight then.

The key word in this quote is "if", the biggest two letter word in the English language. But, the thing is, nothing he has done has suggested he has used PEDs. It's a Floyd Sr fabrication and everyone jumped on his bandwagon, and the guy is a former fighter and a drug dealer, not an expert on PEDs. Pac's actions are not indicative of roids. People who do roids (especially for an extended period of time) do not smile constantly and conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. Roids is indicative of guys flying off the handle, going on rants, getting involved in multiple domestic violence disputes, etc...

Also, regarding the cherry picking, Roger just claimed Ricky Hatton to be a crappy fighter? Then why did Floyd Jr cherry pick and fight him then instead of passing him up? Also, Henry Bruseles, Sharmba Mitchell and Zab Judah were cherry piked also? And Zab Judah was coming off of an immediate loss...

Since Pac has never officially signed anything stating he would take ANY tests to date, Mayweather vs Berto/Martinez/Bradley is good. All fighters Pac ducked for a 39 year old "Splenda" Shane Mosley who hasn't won a fight in OVER 2 years. YEAAAAAAA for Bob and matching the best vs the best! hmmm who won fighter of the year because of Bob matching the best vs the best????????

At the end of the day any of those names are creditable for Mayweather once he returns since Arum wont make Mayweather vs Pac because as Mosley wasn't (at one point) and as Bradley isn't (yet) Mayweather is not Top Rank and wont ever be again. Bob is still hurt and pissed because of it.

Bob has an agenda and Mayweather is/was NEVER on it.

Rodger is one crazy mo-fo. Talented trainer though. One MUST respect that.

The thing is, the 14 day cutoff was proposed by the Mayweather camp, not the Pacquiao camp! The problem with that is now according to the Mayweathers (and others), 14 days is still enough time to get PEDs out of your system? If that is the case, why did they even suggest that to start with? Sounds to me like they didn't know all the things about PEDs they claimed to know....

It's a very strange situation but what I think is March 13th (or whatever it was) was too soon to properly promote a fight of this magnitude. We were already in January when negotiations broke down so I believe Team Pacquiao thought, let's fight Clottey, get him out of the way, campaign for the congressional seat, then go after Mayweather. Hindsight being 20-20, it made perfect sense. Pac wins in March, Mayweather wins in May, fight each other in November. Unfortunately it didn't work out and have been wondering if the 2nd round scare Mayweather had against Mosley had anything to do with him taking time off! It's a valid point considering Floyd Jr had never been that hurt before in a fight...

You gotta be kidding. Clottey easily has the best defense.... Marquez defense is so overrated....He gets hit a lot in many of his fights.

His right hand was a slow progression and was non existant in the second Marquez fight. It didn't become a legitimate weapon till he started fighting stationary targets who he landed punches at will against. Even in the second Barrera fight he was still just throwins fast combos with the left hand being the most effective punch. Barrera survived and didn't take that much damage because he always had solid boxing skills which helped him go 12.

You make some valid points, and as I said I don't think Pacquiao is on any kind of PED's but you have to agree his team, MP promotions has done a horrible job with this issue. I mean really why request a 30 day cut off to begin with?? Then of course the whole 24/7 thing with Hatton came out where he was giving blood 24 days before the fight, so MP's people changed the cut off day to 24 days.
I know Pacquiao is a fighter and might not be the brightest guy in his team, but surely someone in his team, should have told him that by giving these so called cut off dates, only adds su****ion, instead of removing it.
