Cotto busted up Floyd more than Floyd did Cotto and Floyd will be hurting in the morning. You have to take the belt off of the champ, so Floyd as usual hopes and relies on the judges to meticulously count everyone of his punches and even count the ones that didnt land with power or didnt even land at all.

Floyd knows he lost that fight.

Floyd showed you why he is the best fighter pfp on the world last night, and why

        Pacquiao could never beat Floyd.

Floyd is just too smart for everyone he faces. His speed, accuracy, and defense are too much for his foes. What is truly underrated about Floyd is how strong he is.

Everyone thought that Floyd would move more, or get hit by brutal punches from Cotto.

Floyd has bled before, you just haven't seen it in a while.

People talk about how Pacquiao beat guys up worse than Floyd. Peep Cottos face after this fight. Floyd changes your game as early as round 2.

Pacquiao can't beat Floyd. If he couldnt outbox Marquez, how in the hell can Pacquiao beat Floyd? Floyd makes you miss and then proceeds to punishes you. Your punch output just goes down when you fight Floyd, and his goes up.

Last night many people forgot, or didn't know how tough Floyd was until they saw him last night. Resting in rounds 6-8 was Floyds only flaw during the fight. Cottos best punch was his jab.

Floyd is just a tough son of a gun to take out. Much respect. I hope Pacquiao can give Floyd a tough fight should they ever fight, but I doubt it.

I agree, and the belt was clearly TAKEN lol. I love coming to this site and reading/writing enlightening things about the sport I so dearly love. It is absurd posts like this though that make all of us true knowledgeable boxing fans become disheartened. This is what happens when you have people who really know nothing about a sport and just make posts based on who they love or hate. The hatred I see manifested for Floyd is hilarious, but it is also pathetic and sad. As much as a prick and a thug as he may be, many of you don't realize how talented he truly is. You are watching one of the most gifted and skilled boxers who have ever lived. I don't mean from an accomplishment perspective, which people can have their opinions about, I mean from an actual skillset perspective. There is NO boxer on the planet who is as skilled as Floyd...offense, defense, transitions, traps, footwork, strategy, ring intelligence, adjustments, none. I respect Cotto and he fought his ass off last night and I gave him 2-3 rounds 100%. He fought a hard fight and his NOTHING to be ashamed of, but Floyd won the fight, no matter how many of you hate or how much you hate him. You Pac lovers/Floyd haters (or whatever you are) should have your own site where you can all dump on Floyd and try to convince each other that you know something about boxing.

Both Pacquiao and Floyd have slowed down, but are still exceptional. I just don't think Pacquiao can beat Floyd. Styles make fights.

Offense scores points, defense wins championships.

I hope you get paid to hate on Floyd? Because if not, you're a bigger idiot than I initially thought.

I know before the mayweather match people were saying cotto hadn't done enough, just curious as to what the thoughts are now.
I don't see how that's even up for debate.

Cotto fought a lot of solid fighters in his era, a big PPV draw, huge following, entertaining fighter, etc.

I don't know what the criteria is for being in the BHOF but he should be in there at some time or another.
