I agree with some points you have to take the belt. After last night I will never watch a boxing match again. I'm just tired of these score cards being a reflection of money that can be made and not the fight in hand. The fight was a toss up give or take one round but to be a shutout.. Really? Do you think if that was Trinidad the score would reflect a huge margin as it did last night or for that matter Oscar? When they clean up the scoring I might come back.. Last night boxing lost about 15 people as fans at my house some of which were going for Floyd...

He is doing something fighters before him failed to do. When you look back in boxing history the fighters who suffered loses in the fashion that Cotto did against Margarito (first fight) and Pacquiao can't recover and become shells of themselves. You can look at Vargas after Trinidad, Trinidad after Hopkins, Taylor after Chavez, Tyson after Douglas and on and on and on. Those fighters got beat up and after that were never able to hang with the elite.

Cotto on the other hand is improving in certain areas of his game and is like he has a second prime if there is such a thing. He whent to hell and fought his way out of. It takes an individual with a strong mindset to do whats he is doing.

He has improved his technical game but steroids have also played a part. Cotto's stamina has improved thanks to pedro diaz

Cmon half his forum was saying the Arum as sacrificing Cotto to Foreman. I think it has more to do with people not having a clear understanding of styles and how much a loss affects a fighter in the view of fans

cotto never wobbled mayweather in the fight. if anything, mayweather wobbled cotto in the last round with a few seconds left, but then stepped back and waited for the bell. cotto was def in mayweathers face makin him dig deep and that was terrific, but cotto never had mayweather in any kind of serious trouble. that jab of cotto's is quite the weapon...

It was in the 9th round I think. It was off a jab. It wasn't one of those, "mayweather's hurt" wobbles, but he wobbled him. I don't know if it was a balance thing or not, but he wobbled him. I know what I saw.

If Cotto was the bigger star of the two he would have gotten the decision. We would hear that it was shades of Duran against Leonard and that he was always coming foward. It was a close fight.

People say Cotto was no where near winning the fight but still think he won 5 rounds. Just think about it, winning 5 rounds against Mayweather is as close as you can get to beating floyd.

Great fight, bad decision. Actually, the scoring was horrid. When you have nothing but celebrities behind you and don't get KO'd, you won't lose. 26% landed to 21%. The effective punches were Cottos. Cotto hasn't walked out on post fight interview since he got cheated with plaster. Coincidence? Who was running, bleeding? Lol I saw FloydMayweather win 4 - 6 rounds - (1,4,6,9,12) the most, some by a landslide, but who didnt see that ASS whipping? I like Floyds skill but I never seen him all roughed up like that in my life.

Floyd held on too much, used too much Muay Thai elbow moves and Cotto could have let go more, but it wasn't a loss at all? Do people know boxing? Is anybody thinking about Floyd walking in with the oddest group of people? Triple H has more $ than 50. I'm not Floyd bashing, I give Floyd his rounds. I lost all respect for #Boxing. By far, that is not a win for FloydMayweather. It's all about the money, this is BS. -- Off boxing scene brothers. Those guys weren't just Floyd fans, trust me. guys like you are the only reason why I am still posting on this forum. You speak the truth brother, every word you say is the truth. Cotto knows in his heart he didnt lose that fight, and Floyd knows in his heart that he didnt win this fight.
