id say Cotto fought the fight of his life and stand up and applaud him

can he win by a margin of 7-5 and still get high marks? Has Floyd past the level of close wins arent good enough and that he has to dominate everyone (atleast those not named Pac or Sergio)?

Will you say that he's old now and needs to hang it up? Will you say that it was just a tough style matchup for him like JMM for Pac? Will you say that he was always overrated and this proved it?

Will you just give Cotto his due and says it was more of good Cotto or good Diaz than it was bad Floyd? Will you say that Pac & Sergio would destroy him? Will you give Floyd credit for finding a win to grind out a tough hard fought victory against a good vetran fighter or will you think he's a joke or needs to hang em up because he will soon by Roy Jonesed

I'd give Cotto his props cause I see Floyd getting a late round tko. I don't think Cotto is shot or past it but he definitely isn't prime, i'd say 85% of what he used to be. I just have never seen anything in Cotto that would suggest he can beat Mayweather. I could be wrong though but just the way I see it.

If it's that close then a rematch might be in store. It also means that the fight probably had a lot of interesting moments because Cotto won't outbox him. That would mean Cotto landed some real good shots.

Can't think like that. Each fight is different and needs to be treated as that. Floyd is also older and Cotto is at a better weight with a ton of confidence. I don't think there's any way Floyd is gonna be as impressive as Manny. In my book, a win is a win and that's all that matters.
