Will Cotto Mayweather do good numbers because of Canelo?

Cinco de Mayo is always a big sale for PPV Boxing. Mayweather is a big seller for PPV but do you feel the PPV will do really good numbers because of Canelo? Obviously Floyd has his fans but will the fight end up being the closer just like when Canelo was on the undercard of Mosley Mora?
True Mosley is a bs fight for Canelo but the kid does huge ratings.

It'll do the most numbers because of Mayweather and Cotto, and Canelo would boost it as well. Without Canelo, it'd do 1.3-1.4 million. With Canelo and Mosley as well, it could do 1.5 million or more possibly.

Cotto VS Floyd will sell big regardless, but yes I think Canelo does contribute to the selling power of the card. But I actually think people have it backwards; Floyd helps out Canelo more than Canelo helps out Floyd. Floyd VS Cotto does over a million alone, while Canelo VS Mosley would be lucky to do 300k alone, see what I'm getting at? Canelo does get huge Mexican television ratings but he hasn't proven to be a PPV draw in the US thus far.

            ofcourse it will!

For as much idiotic crap that comes out of Floyds mouth, his business acumen is damn near the top of the charts. He knows how to maximize his potential earnings. Thats why he's fought on Cinco de Mayo/Diez y Seis his last few times and has put popular Mexicans/Chicanos on the under cards......
all the while proclaiming that the PPV #'s sold were squarely because of him.

It was said Canelo did a huge number in tv ratings in Mexico how many of those people had to pay to watch that fight?

To answer the question of the thread. Hell no it would do numbers without Canelo.

I'm sure he adds that extra little something (also considering he's fighting Shane Mosley instead of a pure ham and egger). But the big majority will be flocking in for Mayweather vs Cotto. With or w/ out Canelo the PPV does over $1 Mill buys, but they're not depending on Canelo to bring an extra million (or even 500K).

Could Canelo outsell Floyd head to head...??

                      Nope..

Floyd has made tons of money without Canelo..
