Miguel Cotto is too Slow for Floyd Mayweather.

Everyone is too slow for Mayweather, but most fighters who have stepped in the ring with Cotto say that what impressed them the most out of Cotto is his speed, he is much quicker than he looks.

Yea man, I see Floyd as a different fighter, he doesn't move as much but that might not be good for his opponents because he stands there and destroys them.

I see this fight ending in the 8th via tko stoppage. Cotto's face is going to fall apart.

Please if Hatton lasted more than that and Marquez was able to finish the fight, I have no doubt Cotto will. And for sure he'll do a hell of a lot better than Marquez.

Cotto's plans were to retire like a year ago lol, so it might not be too far from the truth, but it's not going to be bc he got a beating or anything, might be bc if he loses he prolly won't have another big money fight like this one, so there is no point in continuing, he already made good money, why keep risking your life..

How much will Floyd land on Cotto though? at this point in their careers I think Cotto has better movement and footwork. Floyd is a much more static fighter these days.



Mosley didn't give up, he just had nothing left. The pace the fight was being fought at was too much for the old guy (same for the Pac fight). Mosley was powerless.



Margarito's a big man though and is relentless coming forward in the ring.

He's 34, the legs aren't what they use to be. If you watch any footballer (proper football, not the steroid padded nonsense) it's around the 32/33 mark when they really begin to lose their pace and movement. Floyd will stand in front of Cotto, just as he did with Ortiz and Mosley.

The real question is, will he stand in front of Larry Merchant post-fight or run off and duck him like last time?
