All you should do is decide if a fight is/was legit.

Pac vs Hatton was legit. Pac vs Cotto was legit. Pac vs Mosley was one of the worst matchups ive seen, very far from legit. Pac vs Dela hoya was not legit, but it backfired on Oscar.

Floyd vs Jmm was not legit. Floyd vs Cotto is ok imo. Especially considering the alternatives.

We don't know he can't beat elite guys. And even if he can't, we aren't even sure if he could have ever beaten a elite fighter P4P.

If you watch both Margo fights, he moves and throws his punches very similarly. I don't see much of a difference. that tells me if he was at his best during vs Margo I he's not far off it now. Sure Margo looked depleted. But just looking at Cotto here. You can point at opponents if you'd like, but its a fallacious argument you're making

I've just now finished watching the Cotto-Clottey fight, Cotto doesn't look any different now than he did then. Nevertheless, Floyd doesn't deserve to get full credits for the win.

Mayweather Cotto 24-7 (Thoughts?)

How do you guys think this show will be? Cotto is too nice and Floyd will probably be clowning him the entire 4 episodes. I'm looking forward to it, it should have an air time around mid April.

MY DUED you talking without knowing ANYTHING. Cotto was NOT in his prime. He was mentally out of boxing at that time, he did not have any passion or love for boxing and he had no trainer, he had a yes man nutritionist in his corner. Cotto did that fight for money and thought he could win bc Pac was small. Cotto is better now than he was then.

1 - He is hydrated now, a ***** like you won't know **** about that though.
2 - His mind is in the game. He got cheated against and lost all love for boxing after Margs. He said it several times.
3 - He has a trainer who pushes him and he listens to, will create a gameplan.

dude cotto is a nice guy with buttloads of CLASS but you cant honestley and seriously look at any of his past 5 fights and be impressed,cotto is soo washed up his stamina sux worse than ever and he has almost zero punishment tolerance,again hes a cool guy but hes not in the marqueuez /pac mayweather league at all, his recnt wins are more a product of bob arums selective matchmaking rather than cotto somehow "reinventing" himself as your suggesting.He was getting his ass packed again by margs the officials saved him from a POssible stoppage loss , cotto is a shotto buddy, Im fully expecting mayweather to stop him way way sooner than pac did,in fact id be very surprised if cotto makes it to the 8th round.

Who do u think was a better fighter from 147-154 on Floyds resume? Oscar was better but not by the time when they fought.

I think Hatton, Marquez, Oscar, Mosley and Ortiz are atleast a good as this version of Cotto.
