Question for floyd supporters in this fight, do you believe Roger when he says that floyd is the sharpest he's ever been at this(that) point in camp? Also, do you wonder if he is gonna peak too soon?

Excellent post!
Excellent post here. I would like to add to it just a bit. Cotto's trainer is amazing! He's like a scientist who understands the way a gadget works. Roger is over-rated and not that smart of a trainer. Name another world champion he has? May makes him seem as if he is a better trainer than what he is. Cotto is doing things he has never done before from a flexibility stand-point, and reflex stand-point. Did you see him climbing that rope only using his upper-body, no legs? The trie excercise builds stamina, strong forearms, and quick-reflex reaction. I am so excited man! Cotto is going to win! One mistake Floyd is making, is he took this fight for the money. Cotto is the 3rd biggest pay-per-view draw in the sport. He thinks Cotto cuts easy, or he will quit, and he wants to show up Manny's performance against Cotto. I also learned yesterday they will be fighting with 8oz gloves! Floyd is really confident. Here is why I think with the addition of Diaz, Cotto will win. If you look at strengths vs weaknesses, Cotto has more advantages. Jab-Cotto, Legs-Cotto, Power-Cotto, Trainer-Cotto, work-rate-Cotto. In a close fight, Cotto will get the decision. On top of all this, his defense has improved a lot. He will not be easy to hit. Floyd's inactivity over the years, his ****y-nature, his refusal to fight the very best, will eventually catch up to him. That day will be May 5th. If you are smart, which I know you are, you'll put down at least $100 on Cotto to win. As of right now, you'll win $900. One more thing, bringing a guy like Henry in does nothing and based on that sparring session, Cotto is in good shape. Henry cannot do what Cotto can do. He does not have Cotto's ring smarts, timing, deceptive hand-speed, legs, or technique.

I'm not sure who some of you think Miguel Cotto is. Some posters here seem to be confusing him with someone else.

Cotto has no chance, I have no clue as to why people are debating about this fight so much floyd will dominate cotto for 11 rounds and then stop him insofar as cotto does not run cowardly like he did against pacquaio.

Sorry but you have been watching too many Cotto-Mayweather promos, I swear puerto rican are going to end up buying like 85% of the PPV believing Cotto is a prime Felix Tito Trinidad coming in there to KO Mayweather, Sorry but this fight is a little too late in Cotto's career now, Even in his prime he doesn't come close to winning... You guys are just going to put an insane amount of money in the PPV pot for both fighters.

Whether you like Floyd or not (and I do) he boxes at a level that Miguel doesn't even come close to. Like Mosley, he's facing Mayweather coming off the back of a win over Mayorga and an impressive victory against Margarito (Shane's even more so than Miguel's) and that's created interest in this fight.
But Margarito's no Maweather. That's not going to prepare Cotto for what he's going to face come May 5th, just as it didn't Mosley. I hope he fairs better than Shane, because I for one don't want to bear witness to another spanking. Cotto giving a good account of himself is about the best that we can reasonably hope for.

Floyd has fought fighters with better jabs, better legs, better power, better trainers, and better workrate, and won easily. Cotto presents nothing that Floyd hasn't dominated before, and there's just as good a chance that Cotto drops off a cliff physically going into this fight as there is Floyd does.
