Money wise, a Manny fight is way better... If he knows he could win anyway against the midget, why not fight Manny first, get his 100mill then fight sergio for 30mill... Isn't that way better??!!!

Floyd may leave Pacquiao behind

While everybody wants Mayweather vs Pacquiao, the reigning WBC welterweight king has already shown interest in the fight against Martinez.
“I can’t rule out the future, you know down the line I may want to make that jump and fight at middleweight, you just never know,” he told The Boxing Socialist.
“I just want to give the fans exciting fights and if Martinez is the guy at that time then we shall see, but right now my main focus is on Miguel Cotto,” Mayweather added.

Floyd will try and move heaven and earth to avoid the Pacquiao fight.

And lets be honest he has done so, it is done. That fight should have happened 2010-2011, the time has past, Pacquiao is declining and so is Mayweather to a lesser extent.

So even if the fight happened somewhere down the line we will not know what would have happened when they met in their primes.

A Martinez fight is way more competitive and a way tougher fight than Pac.
Martinez is the hardest fight Mayweather can take right now to unbiased fans.
I'd rather pay money to see that fight than May/Pac. In fact I'm done even hoping for that fight it's already sailed. Floyd don't need Manny to make big millions anyway. He gets paid more than Manny anyway. Manny is the one who needs this fight because we know he won't fight Martinez at the full 154.
