Cotto's main shot downstairs is the left hook. Floyd has a maneuver for countering that. He catches the hook with his elbow which also serves as a timing mechanism for him to counter with a right uppercut, a shot Miguel is vulnerable to.

Yea, he would have to knock Floyd out to win that way. That is the JLC plan give away rounds and hope to finish it before the end, but Floyd is pretty tough and determined.

Hard to see Floyd breaking down before Cotto, for any number of reasons.

My boy Cotto is going to get beat down. Hate to say it and even more going to hate to witness it. It won't be as bad as the Manny beat down only because Miguel is likely, at this stage of his career, to hit the brakes earlier in a fight than he would've previously. The hurt business, it's not pretty often and it sure won't be this time around
