  • 1 reason Floyd deserves all credit for ppv numbers

Reason is it was "HIS" show. Think cinco de mayo was a reason, credit floyd "HE" chose the date. Think canelo and shane were reasons, credit floyd "HE" chose to put them on his card. Think cotto was a reason, credit floyd "HE" chose him as an opponent(he could have went with "The Ghost")lmfao.

Point is floyd is a fighter and promoter. He is involved in every aspect of his events. Top Rank can put manny and khan on the same card but they dont. If you believe under cards and opponents helped floyds numbers then he gets that credit as a promoter and fighter.

Lastly floyd and oscar hold the ppv record and canelo wasnt on that card. Just sayin

If you think i got it wrong let me know i might be missing something.

it's like the pacquiao "take the test" sht, everyone including floyd knows that's not an issue anymore, but what does he do?

he feeds the casuals, uhh, i was 147, i had a broken hand, i was sick....yada, yada

but i dont bad mouth or say sht about those excuses, because he's a fighter, they all use'em, and what most people dont realise, an excuse is very helpful for a boxer and i think essential, harping it to the public is another thing
Yup and we all know cotto rehydrates at around 160 up on any of his recent fights.. Just to compare the built shows there in the same weight zone no where near 147.. Fuvkn BS! Geez these B.S. never ends..

        • I understand his frustration, he put forth a great effort and made Floyd work harder than anyone else has for about 10 years.

Still, 9-3 was my score and 8-4 is the absolute closest I could see it being.

Floyd looked a few lbs bigger than he normally does, but nothing more that that. I'd guess around 152. Miguel looked about 160, he's not as wide from the back as Mayweather as he's not as well built, but he's a lot thicker.
ok, still no where near the 147 pound weight his money team is harping again.. no way smaller. Floyd got bigger than he used to. case in point.

            • All these Pacquiao fans are right. Pacquiao asked for a 145 CW just for the fun of it. He also wanted the Cotto rematch at 147 because that is Cotto's best weight and he didn't want to fight the worse version at 154.

Yup Cotto looked soft hence leaner Floyd looks heavier. If you ask a specialist muscle is heavier than fat mass. And floyd is the leaner more compact heavy muscles in there, therefore Floyd is heavier or at least just as big as Cotto. No where 147. No freekn way.

114-114 is a draw. Did your fingers slip the key's?...

                  Not hating, just asking.
                  i gave Cotto 6 round 10:8, if i change it to 10:9 for Cotto i have a draw 116:116

maybe i should post my scorecard yesterday, just forgot

official scorecard: 117-111 (twice) and 118-110 for Mayweather?
                  Maybe Alvarez-Mosley but not Cotto, c'mon people! 118-110? 118-110?

there was to many close rounds but they gave it to Mayweather?! to many close rounds why did they give it to Mayweather? WHY? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIfyebxopuM
the last round is not enough to win this fight in my opinion

                  I AGREE

it was a robbery, a worse robbery than Marquez-Pacquiao,

but a really good fight, so exciting, Povetkin-Huck and Cotto-Mayweather, my two favourite fights of this year

If you know that Cotto is better conditioned and stronger at 154 why the hell are you arguing that he was better at 147 (145)? Your reasoning that Cotto was better at 147 is that he achieved more, no **** Sherlock he had more fights there. Like i said go watch Cotto's fights instead of looking at boxrec.
no..what you posted was plain common knowledge and has no point at all...

it's just like sayin, ice is cold or some **** like that...

my reasoning? simple...cotto who fought floyd was already badly beaten twice

cotto that pac fought was only badly beaten once..

                      comprende?
