As I said in another post AA cannot win on points. Ward needs to come up with something we havent seen him do since the s6 started.
I'm not saying that Ward loses only that AA presents Ward with the stiffest test of those remaining. So I think that this fight will be Ward's best test.
Dirrell was doing well, but he was a nervous wreck and collapsed under Abe's pressure.Comment

This is going to be an easy, but tough fight for Ward. I'll explain the difference:
Easy because despite AA being 5'9 in divisions where he's short, he's not that good of an inside fighter. His punches are too wide to be effective on the inside against a Ward, he does most of his damage at midrange.
Tough because Abraham is strong and will fight dirty if you stay in range. I can see Ward getting cut from headbutts and elbows in this fight. It's going to be similar to the Bika fight.Comment

If Arthur wants to have a chance in beating Andre then he will have to do what Sakio did and make Ward fight. To do that, though, Arthur will have to be more active and actually let his hands go.
Andre has shown himself to be very clever in the clinch and stronger than what his opponents expect in out wrestling them and getting off punches in the clinch, throwing them completely off their game.
Arthur has shown a mental weakness in being unable to come back once he's thrown off his game. I'm not rooting for either, but I'm very curious what Abraham will do when Andre begins to nullify his power by smothering him on the inside so he can't generate an effective punch. Will we see him fold into himself mentally as Allan Green did? It's not very often that I've seen a fighter with a mental weakness in regards to inadaptaComment

...or not lose in the supersix at all.
Abraham is the only fighter representing a challenge to Ward's skills. Ward likes to go (head first) on the inside most often and doing damage at close range. That tactic bears the risk of an encounter with an abrahammer that will doom Ward's suspect chin.
So far Abraham's blueprint of defeat is to stay on the outside and work hard with the jab and hook to the body.
So far we haven't seen Ward being able to do that. Not even against Sakio Bika where Ward also went inside despite knowing that Bute and Calzaghe was more succesful from the outside.Comment
