Andre Ward will lose to Arthur Abraham.

...or not lose in the supersix at all.

Abraham is the only fighter representing a challenge to Ward's skills. Ward likes to go (head first) on the inside most often and doing damage at close range. That tactic bears the risk of an encounter with an abrahammer that will doom Ward's suspect chin.

So far Abraham's blueprint of defeat is to stay on the outside and work hard with the jab and hook to the body.

So far we haven't seen Ward being able to do that. Not even against Sakio Bika where Ward also went inside despite knowing that Bute and Calzaghe was more succesful from the outside.

It seems like a real clash of styles for Ward indeed. The blueprint for AA is stay on the outside and just work work work. That is not Ward's style at all. He spends most of his fight wrestling than actually throwing any punches.

Whilst Ward has been pretty obvious in his style and approach I've got a feeling his boxing smarts is a step above Abrahams.
I'm cheering for Abraham all the way, but I think ward will end up outsmarting Abraham

We wait and see....I hope you are right

One thing you should know about elite American boxers by now. They don't fight one style.

Indeed. People praise Ward for his ability to adapt. Ward has fought the same way for (at least) the last 4 fights and he didn't adapt to Bika at all. If Ward goes inside, like he is used to do, Abraham will punish him.

we KNOW he can "Box" tho man, he has just been out there proving he is strong and tough. I think he will return to boxer mode and take AA to school

i see ppl still havent given up on another less skilled fighter with a cult following because of his style. however, i dont see him beating ward. hes no good at anything but punching hard. do u kno what negates hard punches??? two things, distance and close range infighting. u pick em, ward can do either.

I'm not saying you are wrong, but from where do you know that Ward can box elite fighters and why didnt he do that against Bika?

It could happen, ward better box smart and not get on the inside too much,he might get some inadvertant head clashes help him out too.

If ward doesnt really stay focused, then abraham will go all out and will knock ward out.

Froch had the power and reach to back abraham off and stun him from coming forward, and he had the chin for insurance aswell.

Ward is another great fighter, but is another over hyped fighter because he is american and they need their boxing hero's right now.
