Nevertheless the blueprint of beating AA is to keep him on the outside so it remains to be seen if he can be beat from the inside as well.

At this point AA is just a slugger. His boxing skills are not improving and his footwork is still terrible. If he catches ward on the chin he can end him but I see ward outboxing him easily.

Keep in mind Showtime wants Ward to win too.

The referee will likely do whatever is necessary to please them.

It is equally unlikely for a European fighter to be treated fairly in the US on a Showtime Super Six card as it is for Bernstein, Farhood and Albert to be fair in their commentary towards him. They have their own agenda, and it's to make Andre Ward into a big star.

Considering where this fight is taking place and the heavy favorite, the ref may still be tempted to wash Goosen's dishes. I realize the fight isn't in Oakland, but it's a lot closer to Ward's hometown than Abraham's..

I think moving in and out will be very dangerous for Ward. Outside is definitely the best blueprint. I can see Ward doing a lot of that in close spinning and mugging. Anyone know how AA deals with being grappled? With his tremendous forearms and turtle defense I wonder if he can in fact be sucessfully wrestled.. It wouldn't be so crazy if this fight miraculously turns out to be a stylistic nightmare for Ward.
