NEWSFLASH:Zab Judah next opponent is named...

    NEWS FLASH
    Baldomir will face Judah!
    By Sebastián Contursi / www.ESPNdeportes.com
WBC #2 Carlos Baldomir of Argentina will be WBA/WBC/IBF Welterweight champ Zab Judah's next foe, September 30th in St Louis, Missouri. So far, 34-year-old Baldomir seemed to be destined to be only a perennial high ranked contender, as he has been during the last five years. Yet, after winning a unanimous decision over Mexican Miguel Angel Rodriguez last May 21st in Chicago in a WBC eliminator, Baldomir will now have his long awaited shot. Baldomir's (41-9-6, 12 KOs) last defeat was back in December 1998, when he dropped a decision against fellow compatriot Alberto de las Mercedes Cortes. After that, he won 17 fights and drew the other two.Currently, "El Tata" Baldomir is training in Los Angeles under the supervision of legendary trainer Amilcar Brusa. Baldomir will be joined by his trainer Jose Lemos on Wednesday. "This chance took me by surprise as I expected to fight for the title in November or December. However, I'll be ready 'cause I won't let this chance go. Lefthanders like Judah used to give me some trouble in the ring. But not anymore. Since I'm fighting in such a competitive market as the US you have to learn how to fight against any fighter and any style," said Baldomir on Monday to radio show "Ring Side en el Aire."

Haha this is worst than Sharmba Mitchell, poor Zab holding the undisputed crown but doesnt want to fight like a true champion.

All I can say about this guy is that he lost to Dingaan Thobela, who has lost his last 6 fights in a row.

Oh, also, his name sort of looks like my username.

    Zab, Zab, Zab

****ing guy wouldn't take millions to fight Floyd for a non-title fight, for chrissakes. He'd lose to him and still keep his precious titles. Now PBF has everyone ducking on him and us, and boxing fans, have to suffer through this nonsense.

Why should they Jr? He talks big names but actions speak louder than words. Zab would be lucky to get Mosley in the ring with this bull****...But that would be to much of a risk. Anyone notice that Zab avoids fighters with a decent punch? As Bombardier noted????? Zab will always be a "what if"...What if he quit being a ***** and stepped up his competition....I officially label Zab little Mike Tyson, for obvious reasons .

Oscar doesn't want Zab. Zab needs O$car for cash, win or lose and Oscar is not quite ready to re-enter the ring only to get his ass handed to him.

Mayweather vs Zab? Both aren't that popular to get enough money for what could be a career changing fight (way too much risk for little cash).

Mosely? Mosely needs one more fight before he knows he's ready for Zab. Losing to Winky twice is still a demoralizing mental baggage, plus, Zab Judah could be another "Vernon Forest".

Zab is in a "Do Not Touch" situation right now. Perhaps if Mayorga was to go back one more weight class, since no one with enough clout will fight him at 154, Zab might draw some interest.
