JCCj would take Martinez' head off. His hands are down all the time. KO in >6 rounds.

          WTF Freddie ?

I believe that Jnr can possibly win a title.....

At what weight? Martinez has to cut down alot to make 160. If the fight is at 154 then maybe.

                No way!

JC Sr. will never let that happen. Roach will have to do it over JC Sr.'s dead body. I don't think he's that ******. He knows his son.

Perhaps a 40 year old Sergio Martinez

Roach is a great trainer but I think he is setting his sights perhaps a little too high imo. Chavez Jr may one day be a decent contender but as of right now he is not ready for the likes of Sergio Martinez and in fighting him even at 154 to 160 I still think Martinez either beats him brutally or knocks him out.

Chavez should fight Alfredo Angulo that would be an interesting fight two young fighters who are seeking either respect and or oppurtunity and the winner heads off for better things as the cliche goes.

I realize that Angulo has legal issues in the states but the fight can easily be held in Mexico.

CHAVEZ can fight! PERIOD. He didn't have an amateur career remember? On top of that, MARTINEZ is not a boxing great or god. He has flaws and does things that will get him beat eventually. Sooner than later. He beat WILLIAMS who is DUMB. He beat PAVLIK who had lost the desire to fight at the higher levels. Who else did he beat? EXACTLY! CHAVEZ is already a much smarter fighter than WILLIAMS and is more skilled. And can take a hell of a shot to be a kid. PAVLIK is actually good at adjusting in the ring but had lost his desire by the time he fought MARTINEZ. MARTINEZ is a good fighter. B-LEVEL at best. He will lose within the next two fights I believe. CHAVEZ can beat him by years end. You guys act like he GREAT or something. He's not. I dare him to box arrogantly with his hands down against an A-LEVEL fighter with a good fast jab. I KNOW BOXING. You guys are just BOGUS and young! From now on, 30 and up posters only PLEASE!
                      1. So you mean Chavez jr is a A class fighter?

                      2. Martinez is the fighter of the year and one of the top in p4p boxers but then you labelled him as B-class fighter?

                      3. Who is that A-level fighter with a good fast jab in middleweight? Kindly name some.

                      4. You know boxing. I guess everybody here knows boxing. But could you elaborate technically how Chavez could possess a threat to Martinez?
