    1. Hands are down all the time? I did not yet see a fighter who box like that. It is like saying a student joins a spelling competition who doesn't know how to read letters.

    2. Compare Martinez and JCC jr's power. Then analyze that 6 rounds KO.

Roach has to say this because Sergio Martinez with his new status
and position at 160, he can basically fight whoever he wants and
if Chavez tries to turn down a challenge from Martinez then it could
be a bad look for him.

        ABOUT CHAVEZ Jr.....

I think that CHAVEZ is a C-LEVEL fighter at the moment will A-LEVEL potential. He is a very good technical fighter who does everything well. Eventually, I expect him to reach the A-LEVEL by the end of his career. The DUDDY fight was a great fight and displayed his toughness. MARTINEZ is very slick. I'll give him that. I enjoy watching him fight but I'm not about hype. Because he beat WILLIAMS/PAVLIK, everyone thinks he's so good but he's an average fighter mate. Well conditioned, and somewhat clever in the ring. If they ever fight, CHAVEZ Jr. has a very good chance to beat him. Don't forget that MARTINEZ is 36. And I give CHAVEZ Jr. a shot due to his recent commitment to the sport and the fact that ROACH is his trainer. When analyzing a fight that hasn't happened yet, I try to be fair and realistic and not show favortism toward a fighter. I really think about what I say before I say it. Something that more humans should do before automatically picking a guy because of his name or popularity. And at 160, there isn't anyone with a fast hard jab really. BUT like I said earlier, CHAVEZ Jr. has a good skill set and does most things well. His jab is good enough to take advantage of MARTINEZs habit of being a little too cute at times in there.

Im not a fan of Martinez, but unlike other peeps on the boards who are deep rooted haters, Im not going to say that Chavez will destroy him the way people feel that Paul Williams, Tim Bradley and Amir Khan will be destroyed by everyone they fight..

C'mon, Martinez isnt the greatest boxer, but to say that Chavez will crack his jaw is a stretch IMO

Considering you're still holding on to Margarito in your Avi... This is just sad on so many levels.

" a stretch " is an understatement imho.

I think that is highly unlikely at this stage.

He's not ready for Sergio yet, nor Williams for that matter.
