If youve got an axe to grind, do it some place else. Its "idiots like you" that have turned the NSB into a piece of **** over the last 5 yrs. Always wanting to start a fight instead of talking boxing. Let me give you a little insight here...
Mike Tyson is far and away my favorite fighter of all time. No one close. Facts are facts, though. And tyson DID crumble when things didnt go his way. As far as the Douglas fight goes, Tyson got knocked out by a second rate bum who would have never been in the ring with tyson if not for Don King. Tyson half assed it in training and look what happened...Douglas didnt go down as planned and Tyson got Kayoed.Doesnt matter what was in his personal life. even Tyson will admit that he folded in this fight. That is what is meant by "crumbling".
Do us all a favor and go back to blogging about Star Wars or whatever it is you people do and leave the boxing chat to the folks that know what they are talking about. I disagree here. Wlad had never problems with any kind of style. In fact he faced more different styles than Tyson.

Even against Ross Puritty and Brewster he had no problems (before he gassed) and his loss to Ross and Lamon was not a style issue. The only time Wlad had style problems was against Corrie Sanders. It WAS INDEED Sanders' style, speed, strength and stance where Wlad failed. But Ross and Brewster were not a style issue.

They both got knocked out by bums at one point or another.

I disagree here, too. Wlad got KOed by a bum (Ross), but Douglas is not a bum.

They both dominated the Heavys at one point. The difference is this: Tyson was mean, fast, and had a chin.

But with such logic Tyson would win against ANYBODY, because you could always claim that "Holmes/Lennox/Ali dominated the heavies at one point but Tyson was mean, fast, hardchinned like no other".

Easy pick, tyson all day long.

You _CAN_ pick Tyson, but I disagree that it's an _easy_ pick.

I dont think he would have beaten Vitali but he starches Wlad in 4.

Tyson NOT ONCE KOed anyone of Wlad's caliber (experience, KOratio, height, weight) in his entire career, let alone in his prime and let alone in 4 rounds.

The most experienced (number of real heavyweight fights 200x2) was Brian Nielsen: Tyson couldn't KO him (he retired).

The second most experienced was LeLe (Tyson got KOed).

The third most experienced was Larry Holmes (who was 38 years old).

Tyson has never ever faced such a package of strength, experience and size like Wlad.
