I'm feeling confidant about this fight for the first time in about a year now. I think king is just the snake to pour a little honey in floyds ear and maybe get his confidence back. I think floyds been listening to his dad and uncle make pac out to be some sort of super human midget monster and it's all got in his head. He needs somebody he trusts to feed that ego of his until it's so big he won't back down from ****. We need the old school floyd back, I hope king can bring him out.

sugar ray leonard had to fight tommy hearns and he did!!!!....
floyd has to fight manny, its that simple!!!

Since it's already a 'pretty big fine'.. what's the problem?
Originally posted by IMDAZED View PostFurthermore, that's irrelevant. The bottom line is that the commission decides, right? Or does that not matter? Just wondering which line we're towing here.
What you are arguing here is still irrelevant. There are already fines in place to penalize a fighter coming in overweight. Raising the fine just prevents fighters, who believe they can just pay the minimal penalty, from coming in overweight.

First of all Don King's influence with Floyd is tenuous at best, likely exist primarily in Don's mind and in his bs. One thing for sure he has no puppet strings on Floyd like the ones Arum has on Pac. Secondly Arum is going on like the drug issue has gone away. It has not. Contrary to what he has led some fans to believe Manny has yet to agree too random blood and urine testing. The operative word being 'random'. When it comes to this fight actually happening we are right where we started. Arum's angle here is to promise the Mayweather fight in hopes of easing the fan anger against the upcomming Mosley fight. Once he pockets that cash it will be on to Coto and Margarito again. We know the Pac fans are on his kool-aid but anyone else who believes his bs, deserves it.

Now you believe it's for the commission to decide?

Potential purse $50-$100 million
Manny chooses to fight Clottey for $12 million instead
Now that public pressure is mounting on Manny, he's finally willing to accept a 14 day cut off. Why he needs a cut off when Mosley, who is OLDER and passed his prime, did NOT- is beyond human understanding.
WHO WALKS AWAY FROM $50-$100 MILLION TO TAKE $12-$15 MILLION INSTEAD?
That action from Manny speaks louder than any speculation about Mayweather.
Manny's Fear EXPOSED
It's NO BIG DEAL if Manny is outweighed by 16lbs by a taller Margarito, outweighed by Hatton, outweighed by Oscar. Team Manny did not show the same sense of concern and urgency regarding weight with the above mentioned fighters. But when it comes to Floyd Mayweather Jr, Team Manny demands $10,000,000 PER POUND OVER THE CATCHWEIGHT! WOW! Manny & Freddy, if you're so confident you can defeat Floyd, then why worry about it!? it's not like Floyd is suspected of PEDs! EXPOSED.
GREAT POST SIMPLE AND TO THE POINT

You are usually singing a different tune when it comes to the commission.
