JC relies on outworking his opponents, but put him against a guy who was used to going 15 rounds in professional championship fights and I don't htink that his strategy works. I really love Calzaghe, but I'll take Hagler.

That's true! JC going 15 rounds with hagler, I don't think he'd last with him! He'd prolly get Knocked out!

Still, Calzaghe would probably survive the fight, but would lose a big majority of the rounds. Around 9 or 10.
          12 or 15 rounds?

If you're looking at it within the guidelines of a 15 round fight, then I'd say Calzaghe loses 11 rounds or so, maybe 12. I was referring to a 12 round fight, however, assuming that the fight happened in the current system.

prime calzaghe was also a devastating puncher. hagler would just walk into punches while getting outboxed worse than jeff lacy did. i see hagler taking a knee and being counted out after a 20 punch combination to the head and body.

No need to talk about styles or anything. Hagler wins because hes American and from an older generation. That makes you pretty much unbeatable

No way Calzaghe beats Hagler. Hagler has faced way better competition and fought 15 rounds instead of 12. Imagine if a fighter today goes into the future and is told you only have to fight 9 rounds. That fighters stamina would be off the charts. Either Hagler knocks him out or Calzaghe runs the whole fight and wins by decision.

I like Hagler because he will break him down and if its a 15 round fight then theres no where Calzaghe can hide.
