If what they say is true about Margs then that played a big part in that fight. Because for half that fight he put a whoopin on Tony then it just switched for no particular reason. His right looked fine to me. This as an excuse for Pac is BS and I aint talkin boxingscene. He lost because he didnt respect the power enough to move out of the damn way. He kept his feet planted and got what he asked for. I dont like Steward anyway, He's usually wrong about ****.
Emanuel Steward: Cotto Fought With One Arm

i remember about the car accident with cotto but i never honestly ever thought that maybe his arm\shoulder wasn't as good as his left because of it but thinking of it now this could very well be trueComment

I don't buy it. Sounds like excuses that Steward is building up to soften the blow when Cotto loses again (not against Mayorga, but anyone better probably beats him at this point).Comment

I'm not sure if this is true or Steward just trying to get the people back behind Cotto, but Cotto needed that right hand against Clottey and Pacquiao.
Seeing Clottey reel off 1,2,3 straight left uppercuts in a row, but instead of shooting a right hand counter, watching Cotto throw a counter left hook that would just get blocked was frustrating. All he's done with his right hand since the Mosley fight is leave it short and use it as a decoy.Comment

His right hand was pretty bad in the Pacquiao fight. It looked good against Mosley though. Steward is automatically going to make Cotto's right hand better over time because that seems to be his niche. I think he has more power in it than Oscar did. He knocked down Bailey, Torres, Judah off the top of my head.Comment

Same can be said about the majority of posters here..regardless of race..i kinda hate this forum now..its filled with so many kiddie "fans" frantically making posts/threads blatantly hating on fighters or defending their fighter no matter what....i need to find a fourm with OG fans and students of the game..who can appreciate all fighters and look from the outside in regardless of their favorite fighter....just talk shop u know...but in a perfect world i guess..
Green on the way.Comment

I suffer from injuries and continue to work hard but yet limited at times. I believe he truly was injured and it hindered his past performances; That's why he got surgery on the shoulder. Good luck Cotto!Comment

if you follow sports then this isnt a surprise. theres been plenty of athletes in different sports that suffer injuries and play through them instead of getting surgery. the guy in my sig for example(joakim noah)injured his hand early this year and tried to play through it but after a month he couldnt anymore and opted to have the surgery done. he`s gonna miss alot of games because of the surgery(which is the reason he tried to play with the injury in the first place) but when it heals, he will be 100 percent healthyComment
