A warrior never discloses his pains or weaknesses and Cotto is a good example.
Not even his trainers knew how much pain He was going through.
Now I expect a better balance and more complete Cotto than before.

      this is very plausible

was just watching some of cotto's first professional fights and that right hand was used a lot more often then has recently been the case

interesting to see how this will play out in the margarito rematch

I don't recall Cotto making any excuse for loosing to anyone. That's Stewart talking, but imagine if it were true, well find out if he gets past Mayorga.
He will get past Mayorga solely with his left... The true test is if he gets past Margarito with both hands. I still think even with both hands intact, he still needs a lot of improvement on the stamina department. Imagine what he can do with both hands and a greatly improved stamina.

Same can be said about the majority of posters here..regardless of race..i kinda hate this forum now..its filled with so many kiddie "fans" frantically making posts/threads blatantly hating on fighters or defending their fighter no matter what....i need to find a fourm with OG fans and students of the game..who can appreciate all fighters and look from the outside in regardless of their favorite fighter....just talk shop u know...but in a perfect world i guess..

Hm...nice thought, but imo, even with "energy pills", and a properly healed right arm, he'd never beat Pac. Manny's determination is unparalleled. Cotto doesn't have Pac's "tasmanian devil" attribute.

The harder it gets, the more he loves it. The guy just thrives on his killer instinct. In a true fair fight, i believe he (Cotto) beats margo in the rematch.

yup in his earlier fights he even threw it differently, now it has become more of a push. It looked like Steward made him throw it correctly against Foreman and it looked alot better but I wonder if that didnt cause him additional pain. If this is even somewhat true Mayorga is in big big trouble.
