Level of skill doesn't have anything to do with what fight was a better war. Obviously, Gatti-Ward was the better fight. It was back and forth, bloody, and one fighter has suffered permanent damage from it. The drama was huge and no one spit out their mouthpiece being a *****.

Castillo-Corralles was an awesome fight but it will not go down as great of a fight as Gatti-Ward. Castillo-Corralles was more recent and that's the pure and only reason it gets more rep as of now.

but Gatti-Ward had a controversial call with the low blow, and neither guy got KOed AND most people feel the wrong guy one. How can that bunch of **** be better than a fight with non-stop trench warfare, 2 knockdowns, and a KO? Nice logic

Diego Corrales pulled Rabbits out of the hat constantly. Lets not forget he stood toe to toe with JLC and used his strength to win the fight. Amazing. Lets also not forget he got up off the canvas twice in the 10th to finish JLC.

I am a fan of both fighters and moreso Castillo........but I dont understand the controversy. Corrales HAD A ****ING POINT DEDUCTED FOR SPITTING OUT THE MOUTHPIECE. he paid his dues, and had to deal with JLC hitting him low on several occasions as well.

this whole "Cheapo Corrales" thing is getting ****ing annoying.....because it's simply not true.

Legitimate T.K.O. Victory for the tougher fighter that night IMO.
