I agree. I think Calzaghe beats all the Super Six fighters, but I think Ward could be competitive with him.

He would have to be favourite in the s6, but not sure he would have been keen on the challenge. He may have retired at the right time.

Ward gives Calzaghe problems but Calzaghe wins a close, but clear UD.

            Calzaghe UD Dirrel
            Calzaghe UD Kessler (again)
            Calzaghe UD Froch
            Calzaghe wide UD Abraham
            Calzaghe UD Taylor
            Calzaghe UD Johnson
            Calzaghe wide UD Green

            Also, Calzaghe UD Bute

If Calzaghe was around there would no need to be super six he beats them all Bute as well.

'Prime' as in when he was fighting?? I didn't mean if he was to come back now, but how Joe was at 168!

anyways..he would have had tough fights there but his experience would have towered all in the s6.

I'm still kind of dissappointed that Calzaghe retired when he did. I thought that he still had a couple more great performances left in him and surely a win against then undefeated Chad Dawson (a proposed fight at the time) would have helped his legacy....
