I love Rafael Marquez however this looks to be a cash-in fight for Juanma. If Marquez was still in his prime (pre-Vazquez wars) then the first fight would have been much more competitive. However, Juanma is just too young and too big for me to feel Rafael has a chance. And I agree with you, just give us Gamboa vs. Lopez already. That has must-see TV written all over it. Let's just hope it's on HBO or Showtime, it's still not a huge fight and worthy of PPV...

If Rafa was hurt like I believe , will go after Juan Ma Lopez hard in the rematch. We all saw who was rocked a couple of times in the fight!!
imagine a healthy Rafa like the one who fought Vasquez 4 times!!

            Lopez is a deadman.

why not, they hold 3 of the 4 major titles in that division, the winner would almost be the damn undisputed champion!!!

Agree... Nothing to prove by fighting Rafa again. He should get to Gamboa asap. I think he beats Gamboa who is very good, but 1 notch below what it takes to beat Juanma. To those who don't see this fraction of a deficit in championship material, it seems as though Gamboa will win. But I see it... and I am looking forward to this fight.

well they were both rocked bro, juanma knees weakened real good and when Rafa got rocked he got out of balance and ran back, thats why it dodn't look so bad, the rematch will be a super fight if Rafa is healthy!

                    Bull**** fight firts and foremost!!

Now, lets go to analyze this: Rafa claim injury and most here said if it wasnt for the injury he would had KOd Juanma. So there a chance for Juanma to prove he made Rafa quit, and for Rafa to prove he really was injured.

Now I do think Rafa and quit and had a built in in excuse because he knows he would of get a final big pay day in the rematch!!

About Gamboa I like every other boxein fan want Lopez to face him. But why Lopez should be the one chasing Gamboa? I mean Gamboa resume compare to Lopez is garbage. The guy doesnt draw too much either. Lopez is the #1 FW no if, buts or whats. So Gamboa aint pressing a fight with Lopez either? Why didnt Gamboa wanted to negotiate with John?

Gamboa is not pressing for a fight either and he is the one who needs to press for the fight.
