any fighter can come in at any weight as long as it on or undr the weight limit. but to make a champion come in under the limit and at a catch weight is a complete sorry ass title shot. you can't get the full credit for winning a title by weight draining the champion. this what pac does.

I scored it for Mayweather by 2-3 rounds, only really pulled away in the championship rounds.

Compare that how Manny dealt with Oscar.

Too bad Floyd snr called it for Oscar.

You're using a scoring failure as justification for your argument.......that's why it's relevant. He didn't need to "pull away" he had won 5 (if not 6) of the first seven rounds. Yet you maintain MP win over ODLH was more significant because Floyd won a SD???

        Compare this:

FMJ vs ODLH at 154 (no CW). Oscar had just come off a win against Mayorga, and whilst not the best version of himself had a good size advantage. He was ranked (or champ if i'm not mistaken)....it was viable.

Before MP his face was ****ed up against a light hitting Forbes at 150 CW. A sure sign he struggled to make weight. His face wasn't that marked against a roided SSM, and since you're fond of quoting trainers Fredie Roach mentioned this too.

He hadn't made WW in almost a decade and was virtually in a state of waste that he couldn't even rehydrate. Let's not forget to mention he was getting beat up by Edwin Valero in sparring.

You have zero credibility here....only the most ardent MP pole smokers have the audacity to rate the ODLH win as meaningful.....it's not.

Alexander is Jr Welterweight, so why Floyd Jr will chose to fight Jr welterweight? Why not Pacman so as to settle the nagging issue inside the Ring? Floyd Jr needs a tune up fight?!

Firstly, yes i think he does need a tune up fight. Inactivity hurts a boxer. MP has that advantage right now and in my opinion it's a big one.

Secondly, Alexander (though a JWW) is still bigger than MP is he not? So isn't it irrelevant to bring up size when discussing a potential bout involving either Alexander or MP???

And you also remember Roach saying when he trained Oscar for Floyd he realised he could pull the trigger anymore. It notice flaws in Oscar's game in that fight against Floyd making him think that Manny would beat him.

Oscar was past his when he fought Pacquiao but he was also past his best when he fought Mayweather.

Oscar was a part-time boxer, he had two half year out prior to the Mayorga fight.

And while Floyd could only get a SD, Manny put on a masterclass and stopped Oscar.

Both wins but Manny's was far more emphatic.

Stop trying to convince people that Manny's win over Oscar was more impressive. NOBODY IS BUYING IT!! Except *******s. People love to talk about the weight advantage Margarito had over Pacquiao and want to make Pacquiao's win more impressive over Margarito. But noone talks about the weight advantage Oscar had over Floyd which I'm sure wasn't that much different than the one Margarito had over Manny. Oscar was the WBC Champion when he fought Floyd. He was not a champion when he fought Manny. Hadn't even been at 147 in almost a decade. Not only that but Manny outweighed Oscar in the ring that night. I don't understand what is there to argue about? smh
