    BUT.........

    - Mayweather beat better versions of both Hatton and ODLH (at 154 as a WW), before MP.
    - He also dominated JMM. MP waited 6 odd years for a rematch....and he still couldn't convince anyone.
    - Cotto at a CW after suffering a bad loss to AM and arguably Clottey.
    - Antonio Margarito after wars with Williams, Cotto and one hell of a skull *** at the hands of Mosley, at a CW after a forced layoff.

    I could go on.....

and the cherry.....Pac's fighting SSM next.

If you look at their last five opponents and where these fighters were at in their career and what the circumstances were, Floyd's wins are more impressive without question.
I agree that Mayweather beat a better version of ODLH, but not Hatton ,Hatton had to come up in wieght to fight Floyd, Pac fought at Hattons best fighting weight, the weight that Hatton was champion at.

Except a fighter who thought he was unbeatable is tougher before he was ko'd and had lost all confidence.

Hatton wasn't a killer when he fought manny. Floyd sr. tried to make him a boxer............hilarious.

Floyd is coming back by mid summer, I know that makes people mad, just don't get why

hatton was already up in weight, fool. it was the weight that team Hatton choose and felt they had a better chance of beating floyd at.

and with hatton blowing up inbetween fights, coming down to 47 was much better than 40. also, hatton was coming off his first and brutal ko loss to floyd when facing pac and with a new trainer.

so you fail there too. floyd fought the much better hatton. not pac, clown

floyd should only be allowed to fight pac, martinez, williams and maybe cotto.

anyone else as his next fight then he can just go **** himself, watch the money not role in so much and him not be so smug, with constant abuse for him ducking the real fighters he ought to face.

and alexander is a b*tch too, there is unfinished biz,he needs to fight khan if he wins.

getting above himself thinking he can fight and beat floyd, and he doesnt mind a big pay day fighting marquez who isnt as threatening as khan at 140.

Guess the Urango and Castillo fights are wiped from your memory because they were at 140lbs.

And after the Collazo where Hatton was lucky to get the decision, it was clear he could not compete at welter.

Mayweather wanted it at 147lbs his previous fight was at light-middle and was in no way going to go back down to 140lbs.

1st Bold: Hatton had two fights after the KO to Floyd. Why Floyd and Pac fans still argue over Hatton is beyond me...I really wish Collazo would have dusted him off (Collazo should have got the win anyway).

2nd Bold: That is debateable. True Hatton took his first lost to Floyd (at 147), but many fans feel he took his real first lost to Collazo (at 147). Ricky never lost at 140, did his best work at 140. That is where Pac fought him, and KO'ed him in 2 rounds.

Put this post into perspective before you reply.
