not the best ever choice of a fight I would like to see advertised on national television...but at least its pretty much guarenteed to be exciting.

Although I imagine Pac will steamroll the very past prime Mosley, it would be pretty nuts to imagine Pac getting rocked in this fight...not out of the question.

I mean comercials, promotion on their shows a 24/7-Fight Camp 360 type special, ect, ect, ect

The fight itself might not be all that for us harcore fans but will bring a bunch of fans back to the sport and maybe boxing becomes mainstream again, more exponsors, ect, ect

Plus it will a action packed fight even if it is a one side beatdown. The new viewers will not get bored, watching a Calderon vs Iribe or a Mayweather-Baldomir type fight.

This is a great thing for boxing ::

Yeah boxing wins with this one.

A bunch of casual fans would most likely pay to see this & may be hooked when they see a one sided beatdown courtesy of Manny Pacquiao.

Personally I don't think having a 24/7 on network TV means that much if you are still paying for the PPV. It smells of desperation to me, Arum knows how bad the backlash for this fight is.

                This.

It should at the very least introduce new fans to the sport, and the fight should be enough to keep them around long term. This fight should be more competitive than the Marg fight, and even that was entertaining for a 12 round domination. I can't imagine this being good for boxing if this was Floyd/Shane, this isn't a knock on Floyd I respect the hell out of his style but its simply not that fan friendly.

Since the very first 24-7 came out I have been saying that they should show an edited version on a local network like NBC, ABC, or CBS to get more exposure. Glad that they finally listened.

kinda iffy on this. this isnt the ideal fight boxing fans would want to present to the public, but its a start,i guess...i doubt the series will be as good as hbo's 24/7. plus people will see they gotta pay for this fight at the end, not sure if itll exactly 'create' new fans. honestly, i just hope the fight is interesting......
