i remember when a lot of big fighters were on national tv, on networks like abc etc. those were good times.

the problem is, times have changed and with the creation of cable television, many netwoks have realized that boxing and other combat sports are just better relegated to those areas where they wont face fines and potential law suits from the fcc. so i dont see boxing coming back to national tv, and if it does, dont expect the inside access and the quality of fights/commentary that we are used to from hbo/showtime. think espn and msg but possibly worse.
