Just when Showtime was starting to gain some credibility they pull this

    I was loving Showtime.

    All the quality fights!

    The Super Six Supermiddleweight Tourney!

    Bantamweight Tourney!

    As well as,

    Cruserweight Tourney

Now they decide to showcase these two wastes of a fight.

    Well done, chaps!

    No, seriously

    Well done!

Let's just hope this doesn't prevent Showtime from giving us more great fights and great tournaments if this fight bombs for them.

It won't. Showtime will make money off of these. The PPV purchasers are who is paying for it.

The economics of a PPV are understood by about 2 percent of the posters on this site.

Why pick out grammatical errors when you know exactly what I mean't?

                Very true,

Showtime will make a profit. How much of a profit? I don't know, but will make a bigger profit than any of their other showtime events they have schedule this year. Really it would make more money than any boxing show HBO will have if Floyd doesn't comeback this year. So Showtime end is good on this.

This is good for boxing also with with Showtime being under CBS they have a target audiance of over a 100 million households where as HBO and have around 25 million....this could push boxing back into the limelight

Because, it just proves that you do not know WTF you're talking about.
