kellerman isnt all that bad...he's matured as a commentator and he can be very insightful
he's better than lampley and old larry merchant at this point...lampley hardly ever has any interesting contributions

his post fight interviews are indeed very short and involve him mostly doing the talking but merchant was like that back in the day too. also cutting the postfight interview with floyd (vs marquez) short like that was a bit rude

I like max, I liked him on ESPN and I still enjoy him. His voice get's on my nerves a little but he's cool. I wouldn't put him in the same league with larry merchant though, he couldn't hold Larry merchant's jock strap with both hands even if he was on roids. Larry is the man

I don't mind Max...apart from Foreman and RJJ he's the most likely to disagree when Merchant is hatin on someone unfairly. Steward makes random extreme comments and then backtracks if pulled up on it...he seems to make comments that he hasn't fully thought through sometimes.

Lampley is a crazy ass dude...he tried to resurrect his "**** ****" during Pacquiao - Margs...he probably saw how much feedback he got from it on the net lol

Roy and George dont give a **** they'll say it how they see it from a true boxers perspective and they are insightful and will argue their case without just pandering to what the execs want. Not that I fully blame the others for not wanting to risk thier jobs!

His voice is annoying and he's a fanboy. Other than that, I don't hate him. He even while being a big alexander stan he called it like it was on the Kotelnik fight.

Jim Lampley is the same, he has a nice tone to his voice but he's a big fanboy and he becomes really annoying aswell. That **** fiasco on the Pac vs Clottey fight was really fucking ******. Larry is ok but his post fight interviews are slow as shit and sometimes kind of senile.

Bob Papa is excellent and Gus Johnson is okay most of the time. Al Bernstein comes across as phony and he's biased against European/white boxers.

Antonio Tarver is the best commentator/analyst - he's professional, articulate, insightful and unbiased.

I actually like MAx Kellerman. At first I was like, "Larry Merchant is 10000000x better than this guy," but as i continued to watch and listen to im commentate, I think he's pretty good at analyzing fighters and breaking things down, but what bugs me about him is that he tends to get too personal sometimes, with his situations with Floyd. But other than that I do find it funny how he tends to push fighters in the post fight interviews. The other day i found out he was a rapper...and i laughed suuuuuper hard, to the point where my stomach hurt.
