I didnt like him at first, but i like his enthuasism, his knowledge even his accent, which was annoying at first. He's grew on me. I enjoy the faceoff segments, he doesnt interupt the boxers like other interviewers (larry merchant, steve bunce, jim grey etc) do, you can tell he respects the fact its not about him.
You can tell he gives a **** about boxing. Larry Merchant, legend, but come on, he hasnt been a decent commentator since the 1990's, and Emmanuel Steward is the definition of boring
the guy gets abuse every time i see someone writing about or talking about HBO, give him a break, he's probably the best thing about HBO commentary at the moment - which shows how much standards have fallen but the abuse he gets is a bit perplexing to me
