I think Holyfield is hurting his legacy by fighting on. If he just quit after the Tyson and Lewis wars, he would be a top 10 ATG hands down but now you have to count all his losses and take his entire career into account when you measure him against other greats. His losses to Valuev, Ibragimov, Byrd, Ruiz, Donald, Toney, they must all count. His saving grace still is that 5 of the 6 were world champs at some point and 4 out of 6 were much younger than him, but still. He just can't hang with the younger top-10 fighters anymore, he needs to realize that.

His resume now is worse than the Klitschkos at this point, because a loss is not supposed to add to your resume, it detracts from it. Just because Holyfield has lost to mostly champs, doesn't diminish the fact that he has 10 losses. Holyfield still should get into IBHOF on the first ballot, he is just not top 10.

Exactly. Tunney is a ****in idiot if he thinks Wlads resume is better or even just as good as Holyfields.

How does LOOSING to Bowe twice and once to Moorer help his resume? Are we talking about losses now or wins?

a loss doesnt take away from your resume..resume=wins..no win wlad has is better than tyson or bowe..none

But he still beat both of them. That counts.

Regardless to his loss's to them, he still beat them, that counts as a W on his resume...

Fraizers win against Ali also counts regardless to the fact he lost to him twice down the line..

And I should have said "among ranked contenders and titleholders"
It's so obvious Tunney is a raging white supremacist who hates african-american boxers. You know nothing about boxing. Holyfields resume is by far better than Wlads and Vitalis put together.

                      Holyfield has beaten:

                      Tyson(twice)
                      Rid**** Bowe
Ray Mercer(a prime one, not a shot one like Wlad beat)
                      Michael Moorer
                      George Foreman
                      Larry Holmes
                      John Ruiz
and at cruiser he beat Dwight Muhammed Qawi(twice) and Carlos De Leon(4 time WBC cruiserweight champion)

                      Holyfield's resume >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Wlads

Wlad doesn't come CLOSE to Holyfield legacy wise or resume wise.
