Do you guys really think HBO is really worried about Arum working with Showtime when everyone knows HBO is the cash cow in the business? Fighters want to fight on HBO not Showtime. HBO pays fighters a lot more and have a bigger budget for boxing. HBO has more boxing fans.

Who gives a **** if Arum and Manny go to Showtime? HBO will still have the biggest cash cow in the world, the biggest cash cow in the UK, and the future cash cow in Canelo.

Who does Arum have besides Cotto and Manny? Cotto is at the end of his career and Manny has like 5 fights left.

Canelo already sold out the Staples Center by himself and carried the PPV. He's going to sell out the Honda Center next.

I think HBO is somewhat worried if Pac does a PPV with showtime.

They will lose a lot of money in it.

Pac-man vs Mosley is easily the biggest fight of the year so far and will make the most money! Easy!!!! Hbo will take a big loss if they don't have this fight! I think this is just a threat by Bob Arum.

But, yea from what I read and heard that if it does happen they will have a 24/7 like series and have it on CBS.

That is what I read but I don't know. To me is going to be on HBO and if it's not it will be interesting on how that works.

Either way if it's on HBO or Showtime, I hope the opposite network does a good fight and that UFC does something big on that date.

Those who think going from HBO to Showtime is a step up, are only kidding themselves. HBO means serious business now. They want to put an end to mismatches and fights that Arum wants to shove down boxing fans throats.

HBO is in the Pacquaio business, they make a lot of money from hosting Pac fights. He's their biggest guaranteed cash cow right now.

So they do want to host this event. Arum is the one, who's bringing this threat being a dick of the whole Cotto situation.
