Plenty of fights for Khan to make:

      - Paul Spadafora

      - Juan Urango (hasn't fought since March but I'm sure he'd jump at the chance to fight Khan)

      - Mike Alvarado

      - Souleymane M'baye (at a catchweight e.g. 144lbs, for M'baye's WBA-interim Welterweight title)

      - Serhiy Fedchenko

      - Winner of Ajose Olusegun/Ali Cheebah

i really get tired of seeing crap like this. taking this fight is an investment. take the short money (which is still more than you are going to make anywhere else) and if you WIN you are now a title holder - which puts you in the mix for important, big, and LUCRATIVE fights in the future. it seems like to me these guys don't think they can win. from a glory standpoint and a money making standpoint, it doesn't make sense not to take this fight, unless you think that you can't win it - which seems to be the case. same situation with valuev-vitali falling through a bunch of times. valuev gets like double his career high payday but still doesn't want to take the fight cause he knows he will get beat. once again, from a glory AND money making standpoint - it didn't make sense not to take that fight, unless you know you couldn't win. even if you know you can't win, it still might be the best choice.

i blame both fighters for this fight not happening (not that ANYONE gives a **** about this fight, im glad it didn't happen), but much more so mccloskey than khan. khan prob at least offered a career high payday. mccloskey is too afraid to take a career high payday AND a title shot.

sometimes i wonder why these guys got in this sport at all. why are there hardly any fighters that are true competitors once they reach the world class level?

McCloskey knows all this already.....he has been looking for the Khan fight for years! Which is why I really believe the offer must have been ridiculously bad to have be turned down

wow thats 2 guys in a row. (peterson & mccloskey) yea. khan is greedy. i remember maidaina complaining about the money khan offered.

              no way ortiz accepts peanuts.......

also it's easy for a fat a** pizza drinking loser to demand for these guys to face amir for peanuts & make real money later if they can defeat him. (wrong) presscott didn't make **** after knocking khan out silly.

stop trying to low ball these guys in a sport that one risks his life in each & every time they entire the ring. if you can't understand that, drink another slice of pizza.

Don't forget that Khan is being promoted by GBP and Golden Boy is bankrupt. If you're not Mexican don't go to GBP ask Mosley.:gay:
