Marco Antonio Barrera has no problem admitting his past defeats, but he continues to believe that Juan Manuel Marquez was handed a decision by the judges when the two boxers fought in 2007 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Marquez won the WBC super featherweight title with scores of 116-111, 116-111 and 118-109. Barrera was so angry at the time of the victory that he parted ways with Golden Boy Promotions, who also promoted Marquez.
