and why would he try block the fight if he got groves the fight vs anderson which resulted in him getting the mandatory position for degales title??.

I dont blame Booth, Groves looked to be the better prospect early on - more of a fighter. But He has had some serious scares and looked pretty bad, DeGale on the other hand now looks like a world beater in the making, Chunky does George big time!

This is the type of loss Groves will never be able to escape from but then again he, unless the REALLY improve him, looks like Brittish or European level at best so why not take the money fight while ur still young...

DeGale looked good in a fight where Smith never showed up and based on that one fight people say he will wipe the floor with Groves?

How would DeGale have done against oppostion like Adamu or Anderson, I'm telling you he wouldn't have liked it.

Groves is taking the hard deserving route, not a dual promoted title fight like Smith/DeGale, (was that really the Paul Smith we know in that ring) NO!

A boxer who keeps his hands that low in the SMW division aren't going very far, DeGale would stop him, i think the fight would be very intriguing for the first 4 rounds but middle rounds DeGale dominates & stops him.
