yeah I guess your right I just think that after hattons performance against pacquiao he has always sort of held a grudge against him and after watching interviews with him it just seems that he will always go with the other guy that is against pacquiao, especially after watching this interview.
Funny how Oscar, Hatton and JMM all pick Floyd to beat Manny....

any version of Judah can't hold Pacquiao jockstrap.
Is cool to hate on Manny right. But, it's blasphemy to say that Judah could anything better than Pac...Maybe just the uppercut and that is it.Comment

He has a better defensive more versatile and more intelligent but above all he lacked the head for boxing,
If all boxing matches where 3 round fights Judah would be one of the best ever.
Manny over 12 is better then Judah, Judah over 3 is better then Manny.Comment

It doesn't matter if it was 3 rounds or 12 he was not more skilled. He was not more intelligent in the ring, he was not more versatile, and he didn't have better defense, he's footwork was not better at all either.
And, no if it was a 3rd fight he would not be the best ever. Stop going to the school of hyperbole. If fights were 3 rounds fighters would come in with a different gameplan and fight differently.
Judah is very talented, but skilled he was not better than Pac.Comment

No he was not. Don't confuse talent with skill. He might have been more talented but he was not more skilled.

Based on what? Pac can't fight on the ropes, can't fight on the inside.
Gets hit with pretty much every straight right hand thrown see Joshua Clottey and JMM.
He has no defence, and gets ****** in the ring. He rested on the ropes against Margarito when told not too and nearly got knocked out?
Zab Judah is more talented and better skilled, he was mentally not right in the head for boxing though.
Manny is fighting hand picked opponents who suit his style,
Who was the last decent counter puncher he fought?Comment

What else would they say? PBF is the favorite over anyone he'd face. And those guys are all GB, which makes for built in hostility towards Pac.Comment

I used to think mayweather would win but after seeing him against judah I really don't think his style matches well against southpaws at all. Judah was schoolin him in the first couple of rounds but then his lack of stamina came into play like always and mayweather began to take over. Judah is no where near pacquiao's level and with pacquiao's work rate he comes out to the 12th like its round 1 so its not like he will run out of stamina like judah, so judging the fight soley on the mayweather judah fight because it is the only one I know of where floyd faces a southpaw I just cant see mayweather winning.Comment

So you think Judah is more naturally talented then Pac but you think Pac is more skilled?
Based on what? Pac can't fight on the ropes, can't fight on the inside.

Being born with speed and power...those are things not taught. The skills that make those things work are learning balance, proper defense, timing, footwork, effective combination punching....Pac is better in every category.
Judah pulling back with his hands down is a problem of skill.
The definition of talent is a special natural ability or aptitude-Natural meaning born with it.
The definition of skill is Proficiency, facility, or dexterity that is acquired or developed through training or experience.-acquired or developed through training meaning something you learn.
Him being "mentally not right(your words)" falls under facility
Which means he lacks the facility to employ what he's learned (throughout his career) effectively and it plays out in inferior results.
Hence in point look at his resume.
And, that falls under skills.
Pac not facing a counterpuncher has nothing to do with it. Is like you're trying to move the goal post. We're talking about who has more skills. Matthysse nor Baldomir were counter punchers. So I don't get the reason why even bringing that up.Last edited by jrosales13; 01-17-2011, 03:29 PM.Comment
