Pacquaio did not agree to the USADA testing. They asked for a 7 day cutoff, months after Mayweather said that wasn't acceptable. Michael Kontz made us aware of this on 24/7 Pacquaio-Margarito. You either need to pay your cable bill, or accept that Pac hasn't agreed to the testing demands.

A) It's Michael Koncz, who has shown he has no clue what happens in actual negotiations (Arum and Manny's lawyer handle that).

B) MANNY PACQUIAO, you know the person in question, has said several times HIMSELF in print and on video that he agreed to everything, no cut-offs, nothing. Even offered to give them blood in between rounds if that's what it took to make it happen (a bit of hyperbole obviously, but goes to show who wants to fight and who doesn't... if that wasn't already crystal clear ).

But this is irrelevant since if there was no doubt, Floyd would've fought him like he did his previous 40 opponents but seems like that little voice of fear and doubt started whispering to the Mayweather clan and forced them to go into hiding instead of fighting Manny.

The only thing I read as of recent is that Manny was not mentally ready
to take the tests. Isn't it a fact that Mosley was asked to take a tests
by Roach and Mosley said cool, if Pac took one and then all of a sudden
the topic was scrapped. I wish that people would stop acting blind
to these facts. It is so frustrating and it makes smart or intellectual
people feel like it's hopeless in the world.






Pacquiao does not have better footwork, defense, stamina
or accuracy like Floyd and he cannot make adjustments
on the fly like Mayweather. Pac is not a threat to Floyd.
Good fight YES but threat I don't believe so.

I read that Jeff Mayweather interiew on here where he said that Pac's camp asked Mosley for USADA testing and when Mosley said he'd do it if Pac did, they balked. Personally, I don't believe that. But, if that happen, I don't see how a rational thinking person could feel Pac isn't doing something illegal.

I agree to an extent. I think Floyd and Pac wanted the fight but
Arum and possibly Roach didn't. Arum to me has revealed himself
to be the real reason this fight is not happening BUT Pac not wanting
to subject himself to testing is for me a stronger reason on him holding
up the fight because Floyd was ready the first time. Floyd is to blame
for leaving the sport again and not giving us fights but in regards to
the Pac/Floyd fiasco, I would say that Arum is more to blame than
anyone.

I hear you bro. You should read this article though to get a better
perspective on the whole situation.

Henson aka "The Dean", is one of the most respected and seasoned journalists in the Philippines. I wanted to get his response on the matter to help shed light on the issue as he was being targeted by forum posters who were quick to assume and pass judgment.

Here is Mr. Henson's response to me regarding this issue:

"Freddie and I are good friends and whenever he comes to manila, I try to see him and we meet to chat one-on-one. When he visited last week, we spent two hours chatting about everything and anything. It was a lot of fun. Many of the things we talked about were off the record, haha but yes, I asked him if he would insist on a drug test for mosley. He even said drugs might have made Mosley freeze after hurting mayweather in the second round of their fight. he also mentioned mosley's history of using steroids and even said look at his body. I wouldn't misquote Freddie---he's a real friend and i wouldn't want to put words in his mouth. After I got your message, I texted Freddie and asked him if he denied my story and if he wouldn't insist on a drug test. I said sorry if I misquoted him, but recalled he said he would insist on a drug test. He replied right away and texted, "normal testing." I took it to mean Freddie will not want extraordinary drug testing for Mosley like Mayweather was once asking of Manny, like Olympic-style. Maywather figures he can beat Pac. But, he knows that Pac has a style that has given him problems (though minimal) in the past. He knows that for a 4-5round window, he's probably gonna be touched up like never before. And personally, I don't think someone that no longer has love for the sport is in a hurry to do that. I think in a perfect Mayweather world, Pac will lose or struggle badly with a lesser fighter and the world will say Money was better all along without having to take the fight.

On Pac's end, I think Arum and especially Roach know Mayweather is a match-up nightmare for Pac. And they know they have about a 4-5 round window to win before Money makes Pac look like an amateur. We are currently living in a perfect Pacquaio world (as his handlers want it), in that Pac is seen as historically better without having to fight Money. And they're winning the PR war and the majority viewing Mayweather as the reason the fight isn't happening. That's ultimately what I think is most important to Arum and Roach.

In the end, I think they're avoinding each other. Down here where I'm from we have a little saying that sums up the Mayweather-Pacquaio soap opera perfectly. One's scared and the other's glad. And you can insert names whereever you see fit.

Khan, 24, defended Pacquiao’s stance on refusing Mayweather’s demands and insists the Pac Man is no drug cheat.
