Where you been? Your right, it's been a while since I talked with you. I see what your saying about side-stepping MARTINEZ but they are making sure he will be ready and the first part of this year shows that. Once he get's going, by year's end he will face a COTTO or MARTINEZ. It's not him picking his opponents remember. That's what everyone should realize before calling a fighter a ducker. He doesn't care who he fights, believe me. But he is almost ready in the skill department. And he's very likable too. I don't see what the hate is about? He is a positive guy with realistic opinions about boxing. I think his future is what he makes of it. Don't you?

What so freaking to hard to understand that the reason he has over 40 fight is that he had not amature career!!!! Of course he wont have the best resume out there, other boxers fight hundreds of times in amatures gaining very much needed experience. You think Chavez decided to let his promoters milk his name and just fight to sell tickets with no legitimate training like other champs have?

I give him credit to have the balls to keep fighting and trying to improve while having so many people criticize every damn move he makes. He is only 24 and starting to step up and put in the work he has to.

yeah i agree and i think he has some tools to win a tittle and beat 90 percent of the fighters out there. He would get ****d by martinez but so would every one else. He would be competive against any one else specially with roach and ariza with him.

I think you're absolutely right though, he can beat about 90% of fighters I say B class fighters and below, but he needed to be fighting A class fighters a LONG TIME AGO, especially with that name...

Yea well your fellow rican poster always talk **** i only respond. Not all about 4 or 5. Well dude i dont think really took it serious up until he decided to hire roach. Thats why he would always gas out. But people hating on him when he has some tools like his height reach good power and good combos. He would give most fighters problems and a fight with cotto would be a pick em fight. Jr is tall and showed a good jab with roach not to mention the beatings cotto took i dont think his chin will hold up any more.
