chavez jr... this kid really is a piece of ****. His old man fought like a thousand bums but he eventually stepped up in competition, he got a couple of gift decisions but he was least fighting people who actually mattered. But jr just refuses to fight anyone worth mentioning, and whenever the rumblings begin about him actually facing a challenge he seems to get the flu. He is the definition of a B!TCH A$$ N!GGA!!!

Listen, ignorant. First of all he has no amateur background, he needs a resumé. Secondly, Mexican cab drivers are tougher than most American " boxers ". People don't like Chavez Jr because he is not willing to fight Martinez for his title. Martinez's people tried to make that fight with Julio in 2009 and Chavez turned down the offer.

Now that Martinez is the 160 title holder, Chavez would usually have to fight him if he wanted to be champion. Instead, the corrupt WBC is going to "promote" Martinez to super champion status so Chavez jr can fight for the 160 title without having to fight the champion, Sergio Martinez.

You mentioned a lot of great fighters in your post, but Chavez Jr is a long way from proving he is one of them.
