Why is Cotto done? The last thing we've seen from him is a great win against Yuri Foreman, and he's 'only' 30 years old. We'll have to see his performace against Mayorga before we can judge.

Until I see Canelo face a good opposition or elite fighter I will not give my opinion about this kid . He got some skills but everybody knows he didn't face anybody good yet . What I can say is when your good you are good period . In the history of boxing we have champs before the age of 20 years . How long they waiting for this kid . He got almost 40 fights already . Like Chavez Jr almost like 50 fights and didn't fight for a tittle yet is ridiculos . If they are not ready for professional boxing stay on amateurs period . Vazquez Jr is already a champ and never fight in amateur plus he not even have 20 fights yet .

because Canelo is still a prospect? He is already one of the top 5 biggest draws in the sport with the potential to be among the biggest draws of all time.

You don't put a prospect in a fight that has no upside especially not a prospect with as much $ potential as Canelo.

its crazy how **** works in boxing. U take it easy and pick opponents wisely, your a ducker and a cherry picker. U fight some tough, top fighters, lose to 2 of them and your a bum or shot or w.e. Plus 1 of the fighters gets caught cheating in his next fight but a lot of people seem not care 2 much about that. Then when beefing with *******s, the same people who knock cotto for losing 2 pac say he is on steroids. Wtf????
