Don't know how true that is.

Like in the Yankee Stadium. It holds about 50,000 people but for the Cotto-Foreman fight they cornered it way down to, I forgot how many. Probably 10k or less, around there.
Cotto/Foreman had a crowd of about 25,000 people. It certainly wasn't anywhere close to 10k.

As for this fight, I knew that guy was full of ****. I have been following the sales on silverdometickets.com and they clearly were in the thousands. By fight night I bet they will have sold 4,000 or so tickets which is more than Khan last fight, Sergio/Williams(both fights), JMM and so on. People want to **** on Detroit but 4,000 sold is a pretty good number. There will be the full 7,000 in the crowd.

Nearly 1500 tickets have been sold in just the 25 dollar section. Marley doesn't know what the hell he is talking about.

Lets be realistic, if they sell over 5k it would be in range with moderate expectations for having the card in the completely wrong place.

I always laugh that nobody wants to watch 2 "talented young black boxers" that they have to give away free tickets and are HAPPY to sell 3000, lol. While Adamek sells 2x on a non tv card.

Maybe the new crop of young black american fighters need to step up their game and be exciting or else they gonna be fighting infront of empty seats and free tickets all their life then they will cry when they go out of Country to fight and get robbed infront of a 50,000 home crowd.

no surprise...boxing is hurting in the states...**** economy & no one has extra money for boxing anymore..MMA still does good because they pit the best vs best in their main events.there are alot of sports in the states.NBA,NFL,MLB,NHL,MMA,soccer,etc....that doesnt include college levels either.boxing is flurishing in europe because there is soccer & a few other sports.boxing is corrupt & is losing fans more then gaining.for years people complained about too many weight classes & too many titles... now those problems have watered down the sport to the point where no one cares...boxing has to change now or else it will be an afterthought...i think it was derric rossy who said its hard getting a fight in the US right now...

Only 2000? Wow that's pretty pitiful, this is supposed to be a big fight.

Steve Kim backs Marley's story. He says the number is 350.

this is the layout if anyone is looking for it. The ring will be in the corner of an endzone, not the center of the field like some are imagining.
