Do some Mexican's feel like DLH became to Americanized and is a sell out? I remember before he fought Chavez it seemed like all the Mexicans rooted for Chavez. I've heard people like Vargas call DLH a fake Mexican. I believe Oscar fought Vargas after he was KO by Trinidad, hmmm...that sounds just like what another current boxer is doing Anyway, do some in the Mexican community feel like DLH doesn't embrace Mexican culture, if so is that the reason for the contempt?

Beating chavez played a part, but ultimately losing most of the big fights (despite the constant promotion/hype), and he didn't have a spitting image of a mexican warroir. He was too good looking, and soft spoken...just plain gay.

I think the guys been through a lot and he's fought really well while in his prime, always a good boxer and willing to go toe to toe.. but he got a lot of hate off of the Chavez fight cause that was a passing of the torch of a legend, and also got a lot of **** for running against trinidad although he had the fight won, thats not what a "mexican fighter blood and guts warriors does... lol just ask margarito.. lol but that is what we are taught to go full force or not at all..
