They also forget that Berto fought Dirrell(who is now at 168) in the amateurs. And, I think the fought in the MW division. Berto won but means nothing in the point. The point is that Berto naturally is a big guy. And, naturally IMO bigger than Ortiz.

I don't know if I would call Ortiz a "murderous puncher" that is like a Bob Arum hyperbole statement to me but whatever.

And, what has Ortiz done? Besides proving senior citizens can't beat him and that he can't beat any prime top 10-15 contender? Maybe that is where the Nancy talk comes from perhaps?.
Berto fought Dirrell when they were how old? You do realize that metabolisms slow down as you get older right? I don't think Berto is the bigger guy he just has more muscle mass is all.

As far as everything alse you said I to would agree with you if I downplayed everything!

Even a simplton could see that Ortiz is a big upgrade for Berto compared to his last couple fights. I mean not everyone of his potential opponents can be sure shot Hall Of fame A+ fighters thats not realistic.

And those 140 pounders are better than 90% of the welterweight division! The talent level really drops off once you get passed Pac,Mosely, and Berto.

But, even as a pro Berto has fought as high as MW. Ortiz is a big JWW doesn't mean he is the naturally bigger guy. But, if you believe he is so be it.

Downplay what exactly? WTF has he done at JWW let alone at WW? Look at what he has done at JWW, look at all his accomplishments. Look at his great resume(senior citizens and all) Really how is a better opponent than a Quintana?

You can say that about the top tier 140lbers.

But, Ortiz is not a top tier 140lber.

Ortiz maybe better than some of berto's previous opponents but berto would KO ortiz if they fought. ortiz would do ok for 3/4 rounds, but hen when berto starts landing bigger shots, vic will go down n out

Didn't say better but why do you keep dodging? It's principle not talent skill or anything else fight related. I don't think these fighters should be rewarded for the ridiculous antics. You seem cool with it.

                  What makes Cintron more deserving?

Keep acting like you know s..t, my man you brought up clottey as a worthy contender..... Before you good day me, tell me why the number 1 contender to the title is less worthy than a swan diver?

Does cintron kick their asses, yes but that doesn't excuse his oscar winning money grab last time out.

You do you though, double standard on different fighters. It's called integrity son.

Steve Forbes and Juan Urango are better than 90% of the WW division?
